Rooted Edge Consulting offers management training sessions over zoom with Sarah Bennett and Lindsay Crowder for managers seeking training in key management skills, proficiencies, and best practices. In 2025, we are offering these trainings to mission-driven organizations and we can run the trainings for managers over zoom or in person.

Coaching Services:

Through our management coaching service, we partner with your organization to help coach and train one or more of your managers. We can work one-on-one with your new or seasoned manager to help strengthen their management skills, orientation, and approach.

We’ll design the coaching plan which works best for you, but most of our projects include: direct training on core management skills and tools; observation and intake; providing tools and templates to help with efficiency; and ongoing coaching/ listening sessions, ongoing observation and feedback; problem-solving around your biggest pain points. 

A few examples of the challenges we could decide to address together include: strengthening your ability to give effective feedback to your staff; goal setting and planning; making your team meetings more effective, engaging, and inclusive; ensuring weekly check-ins lay the foundation for the best possible week ahead; strengthening your process for an upcoming hiring project with strong DEI values and best recruiting practices; managing multiple staff, including managers; or designing a training and plan around a skill or proficiency for an area of growth with your staff.

    • Our hourly rate for coaching is between $70 to $125/ hour, depending on your organization's overall budget and budget for the project. We can find an hourly rate that works best for you. You are only billed for time spent on our project. We are also open to a project-based set-up as well.

    • Please note that the estimated hour project includes not just direct coaching time, but also the hours spent on prep/ research/ training development/ and more to make the coaching as impactful as possible.

    • We also offer a free 20 to 30 minute coaching session to give the manager a chance to meet Sarah, and explore challenges together. We believe this is helpful for giving potential coaching clients a taste of our approach and where we can help strengthen your management approach and skills.
